It’s the latest edition of Month in a Minute. What’s been going on at Leeds Building Society?
Here’s what’s new this month:
- Income Plus expanded – more options to help clients

Product Corner
We’ve boosted our Income Plus range – increasing LTI from 5.5x to 6x and opening it up to home movers and remortgagers, not just FTBs. With life changes and rising costs, clients need more flexibility. This expansion gives you more ways to help them at each stage.
Key criteria:
- Up to 6 x LTI for FTB, home movers and remortgagers (£75k+ income).
- Up to 5 x LTI for home movers and remortgagers (income: movers/remortgages £50k+; FTBs £30k+).
- Up to 95% LTV for FTBs; 90% LTV for home movers/remortgagers (LTV limits apply to remortgagers).
- Available for new build (subject to limits) and self-employed applicants.
- Available on five-year fixed rates.

Our Senior Corporate Account Manager talks Income Plus
Did You Miss It?
We’re really pleased to welcome our new Senior Corporate Account Manager, Michelle Ward, as we continue to strengthen the support we offer brokers. With over 25 years’ experience in the mortgage industry – including roles with Bank of Ireland and Virgin Money – Michelle brings a huge amount of knowledge and insight to the team.
We know broker relationships are built on trust, time and responsiveness, and Michelle will play a key role working with our Corporate Accounts listening to what you need, deepening relationships and helping you move cases forward.
Outside of work, she’s a keen traveller and enjoys practising yoga.
