Accord is pleased to let you know that from today, brokers can now submit new standalone product transfers via MSO. The updated journey is more streamlined, making it simple and easy to use.

Accord have created new Product Transfer website pages for Residential Product Transfers and BTL Product Transfers which contain lots of useful information on the new journey, so please check these out.     

What else do brokers need to know?

From today brokers will no longer be able to start new product transfers in the old portal. If they have started a product transfer in the old portal before today, they’ll have 14 days to complete it there. After that, they’ll need to restart it in MSO.  

Key points to support the Product Transfer journey. Accord is asking brokers the below:

  • Accurate Client Details: To ensure all clients’ information entered is correct. If anything doesn’t match Accord records, brokers will receive a notification message. 
  • Account Number Format: When entering the client’s 8-digit account number, be sure to end it with “80” for it to be accepted. 
  • Switch Date Selection: MSO offers multiple switch dates. When choosing one, please ensure your client won’t incur any Early Repayment Charges (ERCs). For more details, visit Accord’s website.
  • Securing the Product: Your client’s product is only secured once you click “Submit.” 
  • Confirmation Submission Message: After submission, you’ll receive a confirmation message that the Product Transfer has been submitted, along with the selected switch date.
