Consumer Duty Outcomes

There are four outcomes that represent the key elements of the firm-customer relationship, namely how firms should design, sell and service products and services, and provide support that meets customers’ needs.

  • Products and services
  • Consumer understanding
  • Price and value
  • Consumer support

These four outcomes interlink with each other and together they aim to develop and provide greater clarity on the expectations for firms in complying with the new Consumer Principle and related cross-cutting rules.

Consumer Duty Guide

You can download our guide for more details on the new Consumer Duty Principle and the cross-cutting rules financial firms are expected to follow.
