Changes to our buy to let and residential criteria
We’ve made changes to our buy to let and residential mortgages lending criteria – 9 December 2021
Minimum energy performance certificate rating
We’ll no longer accept any buy to let property with an EPC rating of F or G Buy to let properties must have an EPC of E or above or a registered exemption certificate
Flats above commercial
Flats in blocks that are above restaurants, takeaways and public houses are no longer acceptable for lending

We’ve added ABC+ to the acceptable warranty provider list

We’ve removed the year of construction linked to the acceptance of Wimpey No Fine and Laing Easiform, acceptability will be linked to valuers’ assessment
