Zero-hours workers

For zero-hours contractors, we assess affordability over 52 weeks, taking into account the nature of their contracts to give a more accurate view. For non-professional roles, we’ll consider applicants with two years of continuous employment at the same company, and one year for professional roles.

Flexible income assessment

We also take a manual approach to income assessment, considering dividends, profit share and other sources that traditional lenders might overlook. This allows us to offer a wider range of options for self-employed customers that want to be assessed for affordability based on their gross annual income.

We also accept fixed term contractors, umbrella company workers, and sole trader/limited company workers on a contractor basis.

If you’ve got clients who don’t fit the standard mould, we’d love to help.
