Here are the latest updates from Barclays.  These products are available via our direct to lender mortgage club which offers you payment on completion and a lot more besides!

Barclays Mortgage Product Changes

Please be advised we’re making changes to a selection of products within our Residential and Buy to Let new lending ranges, effective from Thursday 8th September, 2022.

With the anticipated demand for securing a current rate, we expect our case booking limit to be reached by mid-afternoon today. It’s important to remember that although this will prevent you from submitting applications that don’t have a booking within our systems today, it doesn’t preclude you from securing the current rates, ahead of them changing.

Important reminder – You have nine days to submit an application on any existing product that is being withdrawn, provided you have completed the required actions detailed below.

Generate a MIS- 

  • You need to have a Mortgage Information Sheet (MIS) generated for the loan required on the required rate, dated (at the latest) today – Wednesday 7th September 2022
  • Note – You can generate a MIS either using our Barclays systems or your preferred sourcing tool.

Select and save the rate

  • You must also ensure you have selected and saved the required product within our application systems today, as it will not be available for selection from tomorrow.

Secure a case booking

  • To successfully submit the application you will require a case booking in our application system and you have until Friday 16th September to book your case and submit

Reminder – Key product change timings

  • Existing products: Final date for generating a Mortgage Information Sheet (MIS) Wednesday 7th September
  • Last new lending applications on new and existing customer lending products: Friday 16th September, 2022

Residential Purchase

• 3.68% 2 Yr Fixed  £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m

• 3.80% 2 Yr Fixed  £999 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m

Residential Purchase & Remortgage

• 3.83% 5 Yr Fixed  £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m

BTL Purchase

• 3.46% 5 Yr Fixed Purchase Only  £1295 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35k, Max loan £1m

BTL Remortgage

• 3.50% 5 Yr Fixed Remortgage Only  £1795 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35k, Max loan £1

BTL Portfolio Landlord – Purchase & Remortgage

• 3.50% 5 Yr Fixed Remortgage Only  £2495 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35k, Max loan £1m
