Barclays Mortgage Product Changes – Core ranges
We are making a number of positive changes across our Residential new lending and Reward ranges.
The changes include 2 and 5yr fixed rate and 2-year tracker rate reductions, plus the introduction of new products exclusively for your Barclays Premier banking clients, and also those looking to purchase an energy efficient home.
Our new and updated products will be available from tomorrow, Tuesday 24th January 2023.
Product change highlights
- Reduced – 4.68% 5 Year Fixed £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m will reduce to 4.41% – available for Residential Purchase and Remortgage
- Reduced – 3.99% 2 Year Tracker £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m will reduce to 3.86% – available for Residential Purchase and Remortgage
- New – 4.61% 2 Year Premier Exclusive* Fixed £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £2m – available for Residential Purchase and Remortgage
* Premier Exclusive Rates – To qualify for these products, customers must hold a Premier Banking relationship with Barclays. Joint applications require only one applicant to meet the criteria.
Barclays Green Home Product Update
To further support your clients looking to purchase an energy efficient new build property, we’ve introduced a new Barclays Green Home Mortgage 90% LTV 5 year fixed rate. The product carries a £999 product fee and is available now.
Please be advised that in tandem we’ve withdrawn the previously available equivalent 5 year fixed Green Home Mortgage rate.
We have:
- Withdrawn the previous rate – 6.24% 5 Year Fixed, £0 fee, 90% LTV, Loans £5k – £570k
- Introduced the new product – 4.70% 5 Year Fixed, £999 fee, 90% LTV, Loans £5k – £570k
