Our New SVR Rate Changes
We want to inform you, that following the Bank of England Base Rate change on 7th of November 2025, our Standard Variable Rate (SVR) will be reduced across our product range, effective from 1st January 2025.
Our new rates:
Residential mortgages: 8.49%
Buy-to-Let, Holiday Let, and Self-Build mortgages: 8.99%
If you’ve got a case with us, we want to make sure you’re fully up to date with how this change might impact you. Here’s what to expect:
ixed Rate Applications
If you have applied for a fixed rate product, this SVR change will not affect the initial monthly payment figure.
However, once the fixed term period finishes the reversion rate will be 0.25% lower than when you originally applied.
Varible Rate Applications
If you’ve applied for a variable rate product, your initial monthly payments will be reduced in line with this SVR change
Discounted rate applications
For discounted rate products, your initial monthly payments will also be reduced. After the discount period ends, the reversion rate will reflect the new SVR.
If the product discount is set for a period of time, e.g. a two year discount, the reversion rate will also decrease after the discounted period finishes.
Please note, if your application has been affected by this SVR decrease, an underwriter will contact you on or before the 1st of January 2025
