Important updates

Are physical valuations possible during lockdown?

Government guidelines currently state that surveyors are able to enter occupied properties during the lockdown period as long as it is managed in a safe way and both worker and household member are well and have no symptoms of coronavirus. 

With varying restrictions in each country we wanted to give you some clarification on what that means. 

England
Physical valuations will continue during the national lockdown, which is taking place between 5 November and 2 December 2020, where it is safe to do so.

Wales
Physical valuations are continuing to take place where it is safe to do so during the ‘fire break’, which is taking place between 23 October and 9 November 2020. 

Scotland
Physical valuations are being undertaken where it is safe to do so.

Northern Ireland
Physical valuations are being undertaken where it is safe to do so.
