Nationwide Update

Here is the latest update from Nationwide Building Society.  For full details see their latest product information here.   Access these product via our direct to lender mortgage club and get the benefits of payment on completion. 

Rate changes

From tomorrow, Tuesday 30 April, we’re increasing selected fixed rates by up to 0.25%.

This includes rates across our New Business and Existing Customers Moving Home product ranges. Plus our Switcher and Additional Borrowing ranges.

To take advantage of our Switcher rates before they increase, you can cancel any existing Switcher applications. Your cancellation request must be submitted by 5pm today, Monday 29 April.

For all other cases, existing products must be reserved by 8pm today, Monday 29 April.

Remember, you can reserve a product without needing to submit a full mortgage application (FMA). You just need to submit a Decision in Principle (DIP), click on ‘Reserve Product’ and follow the prompts. For full details please see our ‘How to reserve a product‘ webpage.

Aligned income assessment for Temporary Workers and Zero Hour Contractors 

We’ve updated our income criteria for Zero Hours Contractors and Temporary Workers. 

With immediate effect, we’ll now treat Temporary Workers and Zero Hours Contractors the same, and you should key both as ‘Employed Temporary’.
