Express Payment Requests are showing error messages but please ignore these as the requests are being received. The error relates to the email confirmation only. 

The company will be closing early on Tuesday 16th September at 2pm for all staff training across all departments. We will be open as usual on Wednesday 17th September. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes. 

The deadline for express requests on the 16th September will be 1 PM.

 

In honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II our offices will be closed on Monday 19th September while our staff pay their respects.

The office will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 20th September.

Rate switch reductions and criteria update

From tomorrow, Tuesday 1 November, we’re reducing rates across our existing borrower rate switch range by up to 1.30%. 

We’re also making changes to our rate switch window. So, from tomorrow, Tuesday 1 November, if your client already has a mortgage with Nationwide, you can request a rate switch within 5 months of their product expiring.  

From 1 December, your rate switch request will need to be within 4 months of their product expiring.

We’ll continue to offer a maximum of 4 start dates.
