Nationwide Update

90% LTV product details and selected rate changes

From Thursday 16 July 2020, we’re increasing selected 85% LTV rates across most buyer types and Equity Share rates.

From Monday 20 July 2020, we’re reintroducing 90% LTV products for first time buyers.

All other buyer types will remain limited to 85% LTV, except existing borrowers house purchase and switching.

Existing borrowers moving home who are looking to borrow above 85% LTV will continue to be limited to doing so on a like for like basis, based on their current LTV.

From Thursday 16 July 2020

First time buyer & home purchase (excluding Equity Share)

  • 2 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.20%
  • 3 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.15%
  • 5 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.15%
  • 2 year tracker rates at 85% LTV increased by 0.30%

Equity Share for first time buyers & home purchase

  • 2 year fixed rates at 60% and 75% LTV increased by 0.05%
  • 5 year fixed rates at 60% and 75% LTV increased by 0.05%
  • 2 year tracker rates at 60% and 75% LTV increased by 0.15%

Remortgage

  • 2 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.30%
  • 3 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.45%
  • 5 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.45%
  • 2 year tracker rates at 85% LTV increased by 0.30%

Existing borrowers moving home

  • 2 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.30%
  • 3 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.45%
  • 5 year fixed rates at 85% LTV increased by up to 0.45%
  • 2 year tracker rates at 85% LTV increased by 0.30%

Existing borrowers moving home Shared Equity

  • 2 year fixed rates at 60% and 75% LTV increased by 0.05%
  • 5 year fixed rates at 60% and 75% LTV increased by 0.05%
  • 2 year tracker rates at 60% and 75% LTV increased by 0.15%

From Monday 20 July 2020

First time buyers

  • 2 year fixed rates – £999 fee product launched at 2.49% with the no fee option at 2.74%
  • 3 year fixed rates – £999 fee product launched at 2.79% with the no fee option at 2.99%
  • 5 year fixed rates – £999 fee product launched at 2.79% with the no fee option at 2.99%
  • 2 year tracker rates – £999 fee product launched at 2.59% with the no fee option at 2.84%
