New foreign nationals proposition launching on Wednesday

We just wanted to let you know that we’ve got an exciting new foreign nationals proposition launching on Wednesday.

The new range will include mortgages for borrowers on:

  • Skilled Worker Visas
  • Health and Social Care Worker Visas
  • Tier 2 Visas
  • As well as, expats returning to the UK who are purchasing a main residence
  • And borrowers from abroad who have been granted indefinite leave to remain.

Our unique proposition has been designed to help brokers say ‘yes’ to more customers. Our criteria includes:

  • No minimum time of residency required in the UK – most lenders ask for a minimum of one year, often two
  • No minimum time remaining on visa – borrowers are often required to have at least one year remaining
  • No minimum income needed
  • No UK credit history required – we’re able to access overseas credit files from 14 different countries thanks to an innovative partnership with a data provider
  • Up to 90% LTV (capped at 75% LTV if a suitable credit file cannot be sourced)

We’ll begin promoting the range to brokers on Wednesday, but if you’d like more information now, you can see our new products on our rate card or find out more about our foreign national and returning expat criteria.

Sales Director Alison Pallett said: “We’re delighted to be launching this market-leading solution and our research showed it was something both brokers and borrowers have been crying out for. We believe it will empower more borrowers from overseas to realise their home-buying dream in the UK.

“It’s an exciting step forward in our transformation journey as we continually look for innovative ways to support borrowers who currently find it difficult to obtain a mortgage.”
