Saffron BS Mortgage Withdrawals

Please be advised of the following mortgage withdrawals due to take effect at 5pm tomorrow, Thursday 4th August. We are withdrawing these products to focus on bringing our service levels back to normal timeframes.

Brokers are being notified of the withdrawals and have until 5pm tomorrow, Thursday 4th August to submit an FMA with fees paid to secure an existing product.

Temporary Product Freeze

Your business is very important to us, as is our commitment to provide the best possible service to you.  

Following very high demand across our specialist range and other changes in the market, we will be withdrawing all of our products with the exception of Self-Build from Thursday 4 August 2022 at 5pm. To secure the current products, we will require a Full Mortgage Application submitted with fees paid if applicable by 5pm on Thursday 4 August.

Our Self-Build range, including the discounts advertised in our current Self-Build Summer Sale, will continue to be available.

Why we’re doing this

We have recently communicated how the unprecedented demand for our wide range of specialist products has been impacting our service levels. It is our fundamental principle to provide you and your clients with the best possible service, and this includes returning to our typical timeframes as soon as we can.

This short, temporary pause will allow our teams to focus their efforts on delivering the best possible service now and allow us to return to service levels on which you have become accustomed.

Planned changes to our service

We are writing to inform you that our systems are being upgraded on Saturday 13 August 2022 and Sunday 14 August 2022.

We’ve worked hard to keep any inconvenience to a minimum, but we need to let you know that our portals & registration pages will be unavailable on Saturday 13 August and Sunday 14 August 2022. All systems will be back to normal on Monday 15 August 2022.
