Increases of up to 0.50% across our new business and product transfer ranges

On Wednesday 23 February, we’re increasing rates on selected fixed rates by up to 0.50% and decreasing selected tracker rates by 0.25%.  We’re also temporarily withdrawing all 80% LTV residential rates as well as selected BTL remortgage rates.

Product transfer range

On Wednesday 23 February, we’re also updating our product transfer range:

  • Selected fixed and tracker rates up to 85% LTV are increasing by between 0.05% and 0.50%.
  • Selected tracker rates at higher LTVs are reducing by 0.25%.
  • Charge end dates will roll on by one month to 2 June and the completion deadline date will roll on to 5 July 2022

Santander product transfer rates are personalised to each customer, so you won’t find them on sourcing systems. Please log on to our Online Mortgage Transfer Service in Introducer Internet on behalf of your client to view the rates available to them.

Monthly housekeeping
  • Roll on of our charge and benefit end dates by one month.
  • Completion deadlines have been rolled on to:
  • 5 July 2022 for product transfers
  • 5 August 2022 for remortgages
  • 31 August 2022 for purchases
Update to our residential affordability rates

On Tuesday 1 March we’re updating our residential affordability rates to reflect February’s Bank of England base rate increase.

Our affordability calculator will be updated to reflect these changes. Please use this calculator to make sure you get an accurate reflection of what we can lend your clients.

Pipeline Rules

Our usual pipeline rules will apply. All full mortgage applications (FMAs) already submitted on Introducer Internet by close of business on Monday 28 February won’t be affected by these changes. Any FMAs submitted from 6am on Tuesday 1 March, or where a material change is made to an FMA submitted before close of business on Monday 28 February, will be assessed using our updated lending policy.
