Important Buy-to-Let Update: Important Product Changes

We will be implementing changes on our 1st Charge BTL product range. The revised product range will be available for selection on our broker portal from Wednesday 8th January 2025. 

The changes affect our Limited Edition, Standard, Specialist and Complex product ranges.

A summary of some of the pricing changes are noted below:

Product changes:

  • Rate increase on Limited Edition, Standard, Specialist and Complex product ranges.
  • 2-year fixed rates now starting from 2.59%
  • 5-year fixed rates now starting from 4.28% 

We offer a wide range of products, with fees ranging from 1.00% to 9.99%, providing your clients with a variety of options depending on their individual circumstances. (1% fee option not currently available on Limited Edition product range)

Pipeline Management 

To qualify for the current rates (prior to the rate increase), all cases need to be dipped on our broker portal by close of play today, with a product selected, application form submitted and the application fee paid, by Tuesday 14th January 2025. All cases on these rates must reach offer stage by Friday 14th February 2025 at 5pm.

In order to meet the offer deadline, it is advisable to ensure all fees and required documents are submitted shortly.

Service Levels

At West One we pride ourselves on speed of service and currently our SLA’s on BTL are as follows:

  • Pre-submission referrals – dealt with within 2 hours
  • Submitted Applications – fully underwritten and updated provided within 24 –  48 hours currently
