Aldermore Managed Rate increased by 0.25% to 5.73%

Aldermore Managed Rate Change

Following the 0.25% increase to the Bank of England Base Rate to 1.25%, we’re increasing the Aldermore Managed Rate (AMR)* from 5.48% to 5.73%. 

The change to AMR means our term variable rate mortgages and all reversion rates on fixed rate mortgages will increase by 0.25% for: 

New business, pipeline customers and product switches

From 23 June 2022 all new ESIS and mortgage offers (origination and product switch) will reflect the new AMR. This may impact affordability in some cases.

Existing customers
 
From 01 July 2022, all AMR linked accounts will be updated. We’re writing to all impacted customers to let them know their new interest rate and monthly payments. 

*AMR is Aldermore’s standard variable rate for residential and buy to let mortgages

New product switch rates – from 24 June

We’ve launched new 2 year fixed rates and re-introduced our 5 year fixed rate options
for home owner and landlord Aldermore clients.

Here’s a summary of the products available.

For residential owner occupied and buy to let clients

► Residential owner occupied standard range
2 and 5 year fixed rates up to 80% LTV

► Residential owner occupied high LTV 
2 and 5 year fixed rates up to 95% LTV

► Help to Buy: equity loan
2 and 5 year fixed rates up to 75% LTV

► Buy to let for individual landlords with single residential investment properties
2 and 5 year fixed rates up to 85% LTVN

For individual and company landlords

► Buy to let for individuals with single residential investment properties
2 and 5 year fixed rates up to 85% LTV
 
► Buy to let for companies with single residential investment properties
2 and 5 year fixed rates up to 85% LTV

► Buy to let for HMO and multi unit freeholds
2 and 5 year fixed rates up to 80% LTV
