New way to secure your
Aviva Adviser account
with two-step verification

We’ve introduced a new way to keep your account secure.

You can now choose email as an option for two-step verification, giving you an extra layer of protection for your account and client data. With cyber threats and security risks continuing to increase across the market, we strongly recommend setting up two-step verification today.

Aviva introduced two‑step verification via SMS around three years ago, so you may already be using it. If you haven’t set up two‑step verification yet, you can now choose to verify via SMS or email. Email verification is an alternative method which lets you confirm your identity when logging in or making security changes, making sure only you can access your account.

Tip: Once you’ve set up two‑step verification and logged in for the first time, register your device as Trusted to skip this step in future.
