New Stamp Duty product from Dudley Building Society
With uncertainty still looming over the stamp duty holiday deadline and a range of solutions still being debated, we are pleased to announce that we are launching a new Stamp Duty product. The product includes £1,000 cashback, no arrangement fee and a free valuation, available for purchases only, up to a maximum loan-to-value of 80% with a minimum loan size of £200,000.
This is a great opportunity for you to support your clients who would like to get a house purchase amid the uncertainty surrounding the stamp duty deadline. By offering £1,000 cashback, which will be included as part of the release of funds, we hope to contribute to stamp duty payments (or anything else the borrower may choose to use the money for!) for those that may miss out.

More exciting news from us – we’re relaunching Into Retirement lending
According to Mortgage Introducer, research by Audley Villages this month showed that 1.8m over-55s are considering downsizing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with a quarter of these aiming to do so in the next 12 months. Therefore we want to provide a range of options to support people who are approaching later life to take the next step.
For Into Retirement loans, there must be more than 10 years from completion to the applicant’s retirement i.e. 11 years or higher. Our loan-to-values for Into Retirement lending are also capped at 75%.
Our unique lending criteria includes:
- Joint mortgage, sole proprietor
- Interest-only, Part & Part and Capital & Interest
- No upper age limit
- No minimum income
- Terms up to 40 years

Guess what – we’ve added yet more new products to our range!
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve launched a range of Fees Assisted remortgage products. December was the biggest month for mortgage maturities in 2020, with almost 170,000 accounts reaching the end of existing deals, according to data from CACI. We recognise that now more than ever, it is important to support your clients by providing product options which suit their needs during this challenging time.
The three-year fixed rate and two-year discounted products are available up to a maximum of 85% loan-to-value, while the Interest Only discount for term product is available up to a maximum 75% LTV. These products include a £499 fee, free standard valuation and free legal fees for core conveyancing only. This means that your client would pay for any additional legal work that is required.
