The company will be closing at early on Tuesday 15th September at 2pm for all staff training across all departments. We will be open as usual on Wednesday 16th September. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes. 

 

In honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II our offices will be closed on Monday 19th September while our staff pay their respects.

The office will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 20th September.

Halifax Intermediaries product changes – Friday 25 September 2026

We are making the following changes to our mortgage product range with effect from Friday 25 September:

Homemover and First time buyer
  • Large Loan fixed rate products (over £2m) and tracker products (over £1m) will be combined into a single 0-75% LTV band with 0-60% products withdrawn
  • 10 year fixed products will be moving to a single 0-75% LTV band
Remortgage
  • Large Loan fixed rate products (over £2m) and tracker products (over £1m) will be combined into a single 0-75% LTV band with 0-60% products withdrawn
  • 10 year fixed products will be moving to a single 0-75% LTV band
Product Transfer and further advance
  • No changes

  • The product search tool on the Halifax Intermediaries website, Halifax Intermediaries Online and sourcing systems will be updated by Friday 25 September.
  • To secure existing product codes, please submit applications in full by 8pm Thursday 24 September

Halifax Intermediaries product changes – Tuesday 22 September 2026

We are making the following changes to our mortgage product range with effect from Tuesday 22 September:

Homemover and First time buyer
  • Rate increases of up to 0.11% on 2,3, 5 and 10 year fixed rate products
Remortgage
  • All 18 month fixed rate products withdrawn
  • Rate increases of up to 0.10% on 2, 3 and 5 year fixed rate products 
Product Transfer and further advance
  • Rate increases of up to 0.10% on 2 and 5 year fixed rate products
