Here are the latest updates from the Ipswich Building Society.  These products are available via our direct to lender mortgage club which offers you payment on completion as well as specialist mortgage support and more.

The return of 90% LTV resi
Product update – Residential 90% LTV

Today we have re-entered the high LTV market with 2 new 90% LTV products.

RESIDENTIAL – Fixed

2 year fixed rate at 3.75% until 30.06.2023.

  • 90% LTV, max loan £500k, completion fee £800 and £199 application fee.

RESIDENTIAL – Discount

2 year discount rate at pay rate of 3.50% (SVR minus 1.74%) for two years from date of completion

  • 90% LTV, max loan £500k, completion fee £800 and £199 application fee.

Please note: These products are not available to applicants who are self-employed or on furlough, or to mortgage holders currently on a payment deferral with their existing lender. In addition, applicants who have taken a payment deferral on their existing mortgage or have been furloughed since 30 September are not eligible. Any applicants furloughed prior to this date must have now returned to work full time.

Self Build criteria

We have made the following changes to our Self Build criteria:

  • Our maximum loan size has increased from £750k to £1m.
  • Shared access is now permitted on cases (relevant rights of access must be in place prior to application and subject to valuers comments).

We lend on a variety of Self Build cases, these include:

  • New projects from scratch
  • Conversions
  • Renovations
  • Knock downs and rebuilds
  • Mid or partially build projects
