Update Overview

This week we can see the likes of Dudley Building Society & Together Money increasing their maximum loan to values, while Santander has reduced the LTV for Large Loan products. Many lenders are releasing new products and expanding on their criteria. The Family Building Society has also refreshed their range of Exclusive products which are available via Brilliant Solutions.

Coventry BTL RESI CHANGES - owner occupied, Offset & BTL range expanded
Dudley BTL RESI CHANGES - Shared Ownership LTV's increased to 95% with select reductions in rates, Holiday Lets & Ex-Pat BTL increased to 80% LTV, Self-Build increased to 85% LTV for both the end value & land value. Max loan for Eco-Self build products increased to £1m
Family BTL RESI CHANGES - exclusive products refreshed (available via Brilliant Solutions)
Furness BTL RESI CHANGES - new products launched and select rates reduced
Gatehouse BTL NEW - ‘Limited-Edition’ BTL range launched with a discount of 0.50% over the existing £500K+ product pricing (0.70% in total reduction on the standard pricing) £5,000 fixed product fee
Leeds BTL RESI CHANGES - select rates increased & some withdrawn
MBS BTL CHANGES - several products withdrawn & replaced
Melton RESI CHANGES - several products withdrawn & replaced
Newcastle RESI NEW - Self Employed range for clients who have been trading for less than 2 years
Nottingham BTL RESI CHANGES - 1 LTD company BTL product & 7 resi products introduced. Rate reductions made to select resi & LTD company BTL products. 4 superseded products withdrawn. 2 resi products withdrawn
Progressive RESI CHANGES - SVR increased to 4.75% (from 4.50%), Variable products amended & APRCs recalculated
Santander BTL RESI CHANGES - Re-introduction of resi 60% LTV fixed rates, Some 2 & 5 yr fixed products will be matched at 60%, 75% & 85% LTV. £250 cashback removed from the majority of resi purchase products (will become Homebuyer Free Valuation only). All resi fixed rate remortgage products with no product fee are temporarily withdrawn. Rate increases on selected resi & BTL ranges. LTV on Large Loan products reduced to 70%
Suffolk RESI INCREASES - SVR increased by 0.15% to 5.54%. Select rate increased & reductions with 3 new products lauched
Together BTL CHANGES - First charge BTL max LTV increased to 75% for remortgages with reduced rates & rates reduced for Second Charge BTL's
TSB BTL RESI CHANGES - TSB branches now able to certify ID for all TSB mortgages & intermediary applications. Max loan available on 90% to 95% LTV residential mortgages increased from £500,000 to £570,000.
Virgin BTL RESI INCREASES - SVR increased to 4.74% & BTL Variable Rate raised to 4.94%.
